MHT parking question

I know that MHT (Manchester NH airport) offers a shuttle from the long term parking lots but does anyone know if it is possible to walk from them to the terminal? I can't tell from looking at the satellite view on google maps. I am going to be dropping the family off at the terminal with all of our items before parking the car so it would just be me.

it will depend on which lot you park in though

We always fly out of MHT. We park in the garage. There is a pedestrian walk-way over the main road directly into the terminal and it is so easy. We pay around $100 for parking when we area gone for a week.

Does the airport have any of those 'park & fly' places? While off-site, the daily charge is usually lower and they pick-up right at your car and drop off at the terminal. Generally, it isn't practical to walk from the airport lots to the terminal.

Yes there’s a sidewalk. Lots C and D are maybe a 5-8 minute walk depending on your pace. I drop my wife at the terminal with the luggage and go park in Lot C and walk back.

MHT can practically fit into offsite parking at other airports. I'm sorta kidding...but sorta not.

@PrincesCJM I feel like I've walked to long term parking....but we've started using the garage (especially in the winter)

Yes, you can walk from the C and D lots. Over the years I have walked in from both. Though depending on where you end up in the C lot it can be a bit of a walk.

I have also taken to parking in the garage. It started a number of years ago when I returned from a west coast business trip to find my vehicle snowed in when parked in the C lot. Thankfully I had a shovel in the truck. But it was an unpleasant end to a long day of air travel. After that I became spoiled with the ease of garage parking. For me it is worth the extra $$.

Thanks everyone. I flew out of MHT in January so I specifically parked in the garage so I wouldn't have to worry about being snowed in. It was also only for 4 days. This time, we'll be gone for 10 days. The garage costs $17/day rather than $10/day in the long term lots
