MGM's - Who Wants to be a Millionaire

My dd just read that this attraction is closed in 2006. I was wanting to know if it is already closed? We will be there the first week of December and were hoping to see this. If it is closed what have they replaced it with?

Yes it closed and they are buiding a new ride in it's place Rumor has it that it's going to be like a Buzz ride but with better technology.More interactive video.

You are referring to Midway Madness. Disney has not officially announced that as the replacement.

Whatever they replace it with, I'm sure it won't be as good as WWTBAM. If it's Pixar, it'll be twice as bad.

Of course, I may be biased as I loved WWTBAM and know that the Star Wars Weekends won't be nearly the same without it.

Edited to add that I don't hate all Pixar; I love the Buzz Lightyear SRS and the new Nemo ride. But too much of it (replacing Timekeeper with a Monsters Inc. show) is sickening. Now granted, Timekeeper was far from good but Monsters Inc. can only be worse.

Yes I can honestly say it is closed. But not without going out in style. Got to be there for one of the very last shows on the last day, August 19, 2006.

It's gone-most likely for forever. It closed in August 2006. It won't be reopening. Sorry. We liked this a lot. DF is really sad he never got me in the hot seat - I was number 2 darn it!
