Where can I find a good food location in MGM for lunch? That means good food, and a nice place. I'm thingking about 11:00. Lay me your ideas!!!!

We love the Sci-Fi.
The atmosphere is fun and they show clips of old bad b movies.
It's always the first place my son wants to et when we head to the world.
The kids are entertained and Mom & Dad can relax!

I dont think any of CS places here are worth eating at. However, you have a good choice with TS. I like Hollywood Brown Derby, but it's on the expensive side and the decor is kind of drab. I'd go there for dinner. Sci Fi is a great spot for lunch, it has an awesome atmosphere and decent food, and the price is right !

We like Mama Melrose the best. We also like Brown Derby (pricey) and 50's Prime Time. I agree on CS's not being the best.

I'd go to 50's PT or Mama Melrose. We love the atmosphere at Sci-Fi, but our of 4 visits only 1 time was the food really good. Another time it was so bad we should've sent it all back and eaten elsewhere instead of choking it down (didn't know until it was too late we all felt the same way). The other 2 times it was OK but nothing remarkable or even better than CS. We've been to 50's PT more times, and we've always had good food and great service.

Sci Fi is definitely a good lunch spot. In May we went with no ADRs for anything, I just can't plan 6 months ahead what I am going to eat!!! Anyway, we went into Sci-Fi around 1:00 and were told it would about a 20 min. wait, we walked into the little neighboring store and before I could even pay for my Sci-Fi anniversary pin a guy came roller skating in and our table was ready!! Great burger and sandwich with milkshakes for the road and pretty inexpensive. Good luck and have fun!!

We love Sci Fi for lunch. If you stick with the basics (burgers, reubens, fries, onion rings, shakes) the food is really good. If you try other items on the menu, the food is more iffy, so I recommend sticking with the basics.

I love The Comissary. Their Cuban sandwich is great, there's a lot of seating and it's always cool in there.

If you're splurging, go with the Brown Derby. If you still want table service but don't want to spend as much, go with the Sci-Fi and stick with the familiar foods. IMO, the ABC Comissary is pretty good for counter service. I would have no qualms going back there again!

I'm not sure that would work during free dining. You can always cancel an ADR but if none are available, your out of luck.

We loved Sci fi but this time we are trying Prime time. I can't wait! I'm also going to give ABC comm./or Flat.Grill a try. Something has to be decent!

I totally agree. I only do CS for lunches and loved the ABC Commisary. Esp their Cuban sandwich!
