MGM to EPCOT...

is there a boat from mgm to epcot? we're doing a full day at mgm but want to have dinner at epcot (none of the mgm restaurants "wow" me)... tia!

Yes, there is boat service from MGM to the International Gateway at Epcot. Stops at several resorts along the way.

The boat ride takes about 25 to 30 minutes and is very pleasant. We like to sit outside, which is in the back of the boat.

If you are pressed for time, get off the boat at the yc/bc, then walk to epcot from there. the boat heads to boardwalk from there, and takes 10 minutes. You can walk to epcot in less than 5.
