again, source please. did you actually hear her make the announcement? i'm not trying to be mean, it's just that i've read this on other sites too and nobody has a source, yet somebody posted that a release was sent to news agencies at 1:00pm quoting ms. crofton.

Information released to the Disney TA site about 30 minutes ago. Other articles have followed up but I dont have links to those. The Theme Park Attraction forums has posted some of the articles.

I usually love everything Disney, but not liking the name. I have no desire to ever visit the real Hollywood... just the Hollywood Tower Hotel. It will always be MGM to me!

I agree.

To me the park theming is old time Hollywood...not really themed to MGM. But then again I've always been partial to theming.

I like the new name as well. I am glad that they didn't use the word 'Pixar' in the new name. Pixar is new to the Disney stable. Me thinks that they get too much already.
