MGM shows in the rain

it may rain the day we're in MGM - we're planning on muppets, mermaid, movie ride & know that all are indoors so that's no problem but we'd also like to see Playhouse Disney & Beauty & the Beast...i think they're outdoor stage shows but are the audience sections covered to protect from rain or do they get cancelled? thanks.

Hello.
You have no need to worry, you will be able to see both shows, Beauty and the Beast is covered so even if is pours the show will go on, and you wont get wet. Playhouse disney is indoors, so there is no problem there either.

We even saw the Stars and Motorcars parade in a moderate rain last spring. It was funny because they were walking so fast that the soundtrack was way off from where the parade was actually at. I have it on video and it's amusing to watch.

just FYI they close the Honey I shrunk the kids playground in the rain and often don't open it again until everything is totally dry....usually the next day. My little guy is still bummin' that he didn't get to play there.

Another thought about MGM in the rain - the night show of Fantasmic is only cancelled if there is lightning in the area. Sometimes they delay it until the lightning has passed, but as long as there is no lightning, I believe they continue it as well.
