MGM resturant ideas

My family eats lunch or dinner at Sci-Fi or 50's PT every time. We always enjoy ourselves. They are a loud and a little silly but always memorable. We always have a fun weitress/waiter at 50's PT and they food is a little more substantial than Sci-Fi. You can enjoy pot roast and mashed potatoes as opposed to burgers and grilled cheese.

We are going again in 25 days and this time we are trying Mama Melrose. I know this place isn't well liked by many people but we are going to give it a try.

Have fun.

Personally, I am not wild about any of them.I like the brown derby but it isn't worth 2ts credits imho:goodvibes

With adults and older kids I'd say the Brown Derby if you don't mind spending the money or 2 credits for it. I went for the first time last year with a friend and we loved it. The 2 credits were well worth it for an excellent dinner. (The filet cut like butter. Yumm!) It made us feel as if we had left the park for the time we were in there. I recomended it to my parents who tried it out and loved it as well. It was one of our must do's for our trip this year.

I also like 50's as well. The pot roast is excellent, and they have some good desserts. I love the interaction with the servers too. I wish they would offer the Fantasmic package with the 50's.

Hollywood and Vine was just okay for me. We are going there this year with my brother and his family for the Fantasmic package. Everything was alright, but nothing really stood out. (Except for the pot roast - same as the 50's prime time.)

For counter service I agree with everone else. Avoid the Commissary. Ugh! Ate there for the first time my last trip. I don't know how they can screw up something as simple as a burger, but they did. Neither of us ate very much of our burgers. I actually liked the backlot express. Everything was pretty standard counter service fare, but I had a wonderful vegetarian sandwich option that was really surprisingly good. I'm actually looking forward to having it again this year.
