Hi everyone !! Which restaurant do you think we would enjoy the most, 50's prime time or the Sci-Fi diner ? It will be four adults and three 13 year olds ? They both look great to me but have never tried either one. At the Sci-Fi, how would they seat a group our size ? Same seating question for the 50's prime time. Thanks for any help...

I would attempt to make an ADR for your party....and hopefully they will sit you together, I would assume that they would attempt that if you have an ADR for the people in your party.

As for those two restaurants, I have only eaten at 50's prime time and have to admit it was not my cup of tea. I know people love it there but for my family we did not care to be cajoled into eating all our peas.. We tried it once and have never gone back. Just not us, but people do love the interaction of the castmembers teasing the patrons of the restaurant, standing them up and making them sing songs if they do not eat all their food...so if you think that your 13 year olds would like that kind of interaction, I say go for it. The food is decent, place is cute, sci-fi we have never done. Just never interested us.

Hope others answer so you can get some more opinions.

That's a tough decision. If you're looking for a meal where you'll all be able to converse and chat, 50s will be the better option. A party of that size will be difficult to seat all together at Sci-Fi. But, if you want to experience the ambiance of the drive-in, than Sci-Fi is the answer. With that group size, my pick would be 50s (or Hollywood & Vine - it's my fave!).

There was just a lengthy thread on this a couple of days ago:

I have eaten at both and I prefer 50's Prime Time over Sci Fi. Sci Fi is cool but I felt like they had more counter service type food. If anything I would do the 50's for dinner and maybe Sci Fi for lunch.

What ever you decide enjoy!

50's is a lot of fun and the fried chicken and smores dessert is out of this world
