Is there a walkway beside the stroller rental and wheelchair rental area that i can take a short cut to sunset blvd to get to r&r and Twt? :confused3 :3dglasses

Nope, no shortcuts there. They do open the gate there to let people who have purchased the Fantasmic dinner package go backstage into the Fantasmic theater for their reserved seating each night. But that's only open about an hour before the show and is only open to those people. It's not really a shortcut either, just a way to bypass the crowd since you're going to that far right side anywya.

This is my one gripe at MGM. It always seems like such a long way around from one street to the other. :confused3

It's not much different, really, from the route you need to follow for the MK.

I'm told the Imagineers designed MGM in an effort to recapture some of the intimacy and scale of the original Disneyland. Hence, the walk to the main hub is shorter, and the buildings are smaller.

But, just as there is no short cut to get from the front entrance to Space Mtn at MK and DL, there really is no short way to get to ToT and RnR.

The only thing that helps, a little, is to cut through the stores -- but sometimes the throngs in there can be worse! :faint:

But what about, for example, getting from Millionaire to Muppets/Indy? The attractions are really close to each other, but you have to walk aaaaall the way around the hub and GMR to get there. I agree with lllovelll here, MGM is a little tougher to get around than the other parks.

I know MK and Epcot like the back of my hand but I always get lost in MGM. I've been there so many times, but yet if I'm back by the Backlot Tour I have to get a MAP (GASP!) to find my way out...lol

What i hate about MGM is the LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG walk to the out after fantasmic....last time I offered to bring TWO strollers back to the front (WHAT was i thinking? :confused3 ) and i swear it felt like i was walking FOREVER!! After a long day at the park, that walk is DREADFUL (eventhough we do it EVERY SINGLE TIME..lol.)
