I'm planning a trip for three to MGM (Mom, brother, and me) .. none of us are "young" so that wouldn't be too fun, seniors in HS & mom (40). This is our first time to MGM, and we're going the weekend (Friday) of ESPN the Weekend (or plan to) .. what would you guys suggest we ride or do? I've figured these rides seem good, but I've not rode or even seen them - so input is good to help us decide our day.

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Star Tours
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Who Wants to be a Millionaire
Disney-MGM Studios Backlot Tour
Sounds Dangerous starring Drew Carey
Indiana Jones

Those are all great ideas. You may also want to check out the Great Movie Ride and of course, Fantasmic!

Enjoy your trip!

Definetly do the Great Movie Ride and Indy Jones as they give the real "hollywood" feel to things. Make a PS for a nice meal at Mama Melrose or a burger at Sci-Fi or something. Fun restaurants there at MGM. Also, we saw Beauty and Beast and thought it was nice.

I went to Disney on my honeymoon not expecting to be "kiddish" so I planned to see all the "grown up attractions". Got there and squealed like a kid! I rode everything and saw every show even Playhouse Disney Live :rotfl:

It brings out the kid in you...after all it IS the happiest place on earth.

Have fun!!!

And don't forget to stop in The Brown Derby for a meal also, and look at the wonderful black and white Hollywood photos on the walls and the autograph book under glass, it's so 'Hollywood' and makes MGM so magical! Have fun!

I enjoyed some of the "shows"-not just for kids. Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast are Broadway-style shows that are worth checking out. Also Muppet Vision, it that wasn't already mentioned.

I love to eat at the 50's Prime Time Cafe, you have to be in the mood to have fun and be treated like a kid by "mom" and staff, but it is a hoot!

im glad someone mentioned 50's primetime Iv eaten their twice My recomendation is while you go later in the eveing just before fantasmic you miss the dinner crowd but the hostess and hosts dont do as good a job as earlier in the night..... The time i went in this time fram the guy didnt really play and act in the role

the second time i went at dinner time and it was a little better.

both times i went it was their were 2 20 Year olds no kids or anything so they may have played down

make sure you dont have your cell phone out theyll yell they yelled at my friend when she went with her parents saying thier was no phones in the 50's

but its really cool

so it looks like we're going to hit this '50s resturant before Fantastmic. Fill in Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster, Star Tours, WWTBAM, Backlot Tour and ESPN into it. Probably in this order .. any suggestions?

ToT x2
RRC
WWTBAM
ESPN
Star Tours
Backlot Tour
...ESPN? lol
'50s Restaurant
Fantastmic

Depending on time, might add more (B&B or Mermaid) or remove Star Tours / Backlot Tour

I'd suggest maybe getting a fastpass when you go on the ToT the first time, that way, by the time you get off, you will be able to ride again. Might also work for Rockin Roller coaster, etc. Enjoy!

I intended to get those two with fastpass, ToT an RRC
