MGM parade/fantasmic package question

I have a mama melrose ADR for the fantasmic package at 3:30pm. The parade starts at 3pm and I heard its about 20-25 minutes long. Do you think I can watch the parade? Will I be late and will it be ok if I'm late by a few minutes?

I think it's doable. Just make sure you are on the right side of the street. I believe the parade begins between Star Tours and the Backlot Express, so if your on the Star Tours side of the parade you can get out quick once the parade passes. It's just a short walk from there to Mama Melrose.

It looks like the parade starts right by Star Tours. So as long as you watch it right near the beginning and make sure you are on the right side of the street, it looks like you should be ok. MM is just around the corner from there.

I think the official policy is that they give you 15 minutes from your ADR time before they cross you off the list. At least that's what we were told when we arrived at Boma 18 minutes past our ADR time. Luckily, they were able to seat us anyway, but I wouldn't take that chance with MM and the Fantasmic package.
Actually, if I were you, I'd leave the parade at 3:25, whether it was over or not.

Could you see the parade and be at Mama Melrose's by 3:30? Yes.

But keep in mind Disney wants you there 10-15 minutes early before your ADR time so in that case it's not likely.
