I phoned MS to make a PS for Illuminations at Brown Derby. I was told that none of the restaurants take a PS for Illuminations after 4:30pm. How does this work? Eat, leave the restaurant, and then come back for Illuminations? For those who have done this, how is it? Worth doing/seeing?

Thanks!

For the Fantasmic Dinner package, you get a voucher type thing when you eat at the restaurant. Your server signs it and then at the time for the show, you go to the special entrance and show your voucher.

I think you are confused. Fantasmic is at MGM where you would eat at Brown Derby. You would eat and then walk around and do whatever and then when you are ready you use your special ticket voucher to get into the stadium that Fantasmic is held at... you wouldn't be able to see it AT Brown Derby.

If you want Illuminations, then you need to go to Epcot. Any resturant will make ps for any time of night (if available) until they close. Many resturants you can see Illuminations from.

Hope this helps..

So, MGM has Fantasmic, and Epcot has Illuminations right? I knew that! :rotfl:

But a restuarant won't guarantee a PS will be during illuminations....you sort of have to figure it out and hope you get a seat where you will see it..

Illuminations is always at the same time. Fantasmic would be a little harder to schedule because it changes based on park closing time.

Are you talking about the Fantasmic show at MGM or Illuminations at Epcot? For the Fantasmic Dinner package at MGM you can do as the previous poster said, get vouchers at dinner for a special reserved seating section. Disney will only have early PS times until about 1 month before your date, then they will probably open up some later times. I would do one of two things. 1) Take the early PS and have a late lunch/early dinner that day. We have done a big breakfast buffet, then the early dinner time and skipped lunch on the day we did the Fantasmic package. or 2) make the early PS then call every couple of weeks to see if you can change it to a later time.

If you are talking about seeing Illuminations at Epcot, there are only a few restaurants where you can view Illuminations while eating, but none of the viewing seats are guaranteed.
