MGM/Hollywood Studios? Any differences?

Has there been any changes since MGM changed it's name to Hollywood Studios? Other than the merchandise......

thanks so much for responding. it is my DH and DD favorite park at WDW and they would have been disappointed if things were different.

Sort of, especially if you're talking about the lineup of attractions.

Since the park changed its name, the Stars and Motor Cars Parade was replaced by Block Party Bash, the Playhouse Disney Live on Stage show was revised, the Journey Into Narnia exhibit was updated for the new Narnia movie, and Toy Story Mania has opened.

Also, The American Idol Experience has started previews and is officially opening next month.

And Fantasmic is now performing twice a week.


However, if you're talking about actual things that refer to the park's name, then all of the MGM references have been switched over to Disney's Hollywood Studios, the water tower has been repainted, and the entrance to Animation Courtyard has been changed to add the park's new logo.
