MGM - Epcot - Boardwalk distances updated

I've jogged all over this place, and have some updates. This has probably been covered before, but I saw someone request this recently.

From Epcot to MGM 1.25miles or 1.35 miles depending on which way you go around the Boardwalk

BCV - MGM 1.1 miles
BCV - Epcot 0.25 miles

Boardwalk is pretty much halfway from MGM to Epcot. However, depending on which side of the resort you stay, you may be a few 1/20ths closer to one or the other.

Weather is great, and everything is nice. Parks are not crowded at all, even today (sunday). I hear we had ice/snow back home, just like last time I was down here (Ice storms in the fall of 02!)

Thanks for the info. I'm going to be at BWV in May and was wondering if we should walk to MGM or take the boat. If it is 1.25 miles between MGM and Epcot with BWV in the middle then its just over 1/2 mile to either and that is walkable to us.

my DH and I walked from BWV's to MGM last week, and beat the boat both times! It is a nice walk and I think much faster then the boats. I am not a fast walker either- but we will always walk from now on when staying at BWV.

AND it is really close to 0.83 miles per lap of the boardwalk lake Beach club rear door and Boardwalk gift shop are exactly halfway apart from each other.

I brought my pedomoter with me to WDW at the beginning of Jan. now--I have not recalibrated my stride in a little while but I clocked about .5 mile from the BW lobby to Epcot and about .75 from the path along the canal right outside our room (which was on the end closest to the bridge to the swan), to MGM (just past the bus stops).

My mom and I had a lot of fun wearing them for the duration of the trip and seeinghow far we walked each day. The total mileage for the trip was just over 26 miles--or our very own marathon!!!! of course--I think themajority of the walking was from the elevators to our room at the BW!! LOL!
