Am planning on utilising EE as we only have 4 days at the world. In your experience, would MGM EE be more effective on Saturday or Tuesday? We're planning on leaving to go to another park (probably Epcot) by mid-late morning if that helps anyone with answer.

The parks, in general, are more crowded on weekends, so you might find yourself with fewer EE guests on a Tuesday.

But it really depends on when you're here.

:earsboy:

We did EE at MGM on Tuesday in June last year. The crowds were pretty big by about 11am-- it was probably the second most crowded time after the MK on Saturday night (we tried to stay away but it was the only night for Spectromagic/fireworks). By all means do EE at MGM if you want, but be prepared to hop to another park around noon if it gets really crowded-- Epcot is probably the easiest to hop to. :)

It depends... We try to avoid doing the parks on Saturdays when we can, but if Saturday is going to be one of the 4 days you are there, and you'll be in one of the parks that day regardless, then you might as well take advantage of EE to get the most out of your day. But if you have the option of not being in the parks at all on Saturday, I'd pick the Tuesday EE for MGM.

Hopping to Epcot is a good plan no matter which day you do EE at MGM.

We'll be going in low season (Feb) so am guessing we'll have to do a park in order to see Spectro. at MK as it will probably only be on that night (if at all). I know that planning this far out means it will all completely change once the park hours are out, but for me part of the excitement of the holiday is the planning! Thanks for all the advice.

We used the EE on a Tuesday in early March. The crowds were not that large at all. In fact in some parts of the park, we were the only people around.

The one disappointment was that tehre realy wasn't much open, especially with a 3 year old.

Tuesday. I find that it is not as crowded, although it's not that bad in MGM on a Saturday either.
