Just wondered what the general census of opinion would be from you on this one! We are hoping to spend one day (single day ticket only) at MGM during the time we are at ASSp (6-9/12), but I can't decide whether to go Saturday 6/12 which is EE, open presumably from 8am -7.30pm, or Sunday 7/12 which should be less busy, but is only open from 9-7pm! The further complication is that we are at MVMCP on the 5/12 and it will be a late night, but if we are up early enough do you think we would be better off on the Saturday?

Also I have been reading that usually Water parks are at their busiest at weekends when the locals come out to play! However is this the case in December, or are the water parks less busy because the locals find it too cold? We are planning on going to Wet n Wild 'cos its included in our flexticket. (Have done BB before.)

As always, any advice greatly appreciated. ;)

Hi Debsi

Well, if it were me, and I only had a one day ticket for MGM, then my choice would be to go on the Sunday.

Although you could take advantage of Early Entry (which would be fab) - the fact that the park will be swarmed with people would make it harder to get round. It is a general feeling that it is best to do Early Entry at any park - then hop to another park where it will be less crowded. As you only have a one day ticket, then I would forgo EE and hope for less crowds on the Sunday.

Of course, this is just my opinion - I have never had the opportunity to do EE before so have no actual experience.

We have been to Florida during late December and Early January and the water parks we have visited during this time have been a mixture of both really. It does depend a lot of the weather at the time. We did find that Wet N Wild was quite empty - but this was because a lot of the big rides were being refurbed, ready for the summer. We went there on a Saturday one year between Christmas and New Year.

Hope this helps :D :D :D

I have been that week in December (also at the All Stars) and you probably won't need your EE as the parks are so quiet at that time of the year!!!

We just got back at what is supposed to be a slightly busier time than when you are going and we walked on to every ride at every park with no wait whatsoever (except MK on Saturday) we found we were getting round the parks before lunchtime in some cases! (you can guess we don't have kids though)

You'll probably be tired after a long night at MVMCP (which is fab by the way!!!! :D ) so I'd go on the Sunday.
