MGM Counter Service

Hello,

What do you suggest for counter service at MGM? When we do not have the kids, we just eat at Starring Rolls and Gerties!!!! Cinnamon rolls and ice cream nothing better...but the kids should eat some thing else!!!!

There's a pretty good selection of counter service down toward R&RC. Everything from turkey legs, hot dogs, pizza, and fresh fruit. And if you're going next week the weather should be tolerable enough that you can sit in the outdoor seating area.

My kids would vote for the ABC commissary...

DD recently told me it's one of her favorites.

If you search the various posts about the worst counterservice in the World, you will see that ABC Comissary pretty much tops everyone's list. (No personal experience, though.)

ABC commissary is not known for its atmosphere-my DD likes her chicken nuggets and I like to eat fairly healthy.

ABC is a place that accommodates the whole family.

If you want atmosphere, our recent sit down favorite is the 50's Prime Time Cafe. Our last meal there for 4 cost us $70 plus tip-
If you like a good selection, buffet style-the restaurant (not sure of the name right now) to the left of 50sPTC has excellent food. This one is $25 per adult flat rate and I think $15 for kids.

We've also had burgers at a stand on the left side of the street on the way to TOT. It's near the Fruit/Vegetable stand.

My kids are like yours Tiggerwannabe!!!! Give 'em chicken nuggetts and they are happy. DH and I have been to Sci-fi and did not care much for it, and we find most of the counter service places a good deal for your dollar!!
