While Toy Story Pizza Planet definitely wasn't our favorite counter service last May, it was okay. We plan to go again this June. The pizzas were okay, the salads were fresh, and the Mickey rice krispie treats were fun. The seating upstairs was also nice. I only wish that the outside of the restaurant looked more like the restaurant in the movie. Seriously, the pizza was about what I expected from a counter-service. While it wasn't pizzeria quality, it was definitely edible.
W/ that being said, since it looks like the rumored character meal at H & V may not be in place in time for our trip in June, I'm thinking about scheduling an ADR for lunch at the Sci-Fi restaurant. It's a table-service restaurant, but I think our kids would enjoy it for lunch. But, since we have the dining plan, & I already have too many table service restaurants & just enough counter service restaurants, I'll probably stick w/ Toy Story Pizza Planet.
However, if you don't have to have a definite counter-service restaurant, you might consider Sci Fi - some of the sandwiches are priced as reasonably as some of the counter service items.
