Not sure if this has already been posted but read elsewhere on the net today that the breakfast may not be up and running til mid June and then it may also be lunch as well.

I was told today that it would be "summer" before the meals start. This was by planning.

not sure if this was mentioned already, but a cast member who posts at a different site said to hang tight, as res's won't be taking place until early april , at the earliest. not sure how true this is, they have applied to be a Frozone helper at the meal (as its rumored to be toy story with friends, incl the incredibles) anyway thought i would pass this on. hth! (and yea disney for having a 'boy' dinner, rather than ANOTHER princess one! )

If they aren't having the meal start until late June, I would bet they won't take ADRs until May. Don't they know we can't wait any more!!!!!

I think this is what Claire L was referring to above (#487). It's from the March 13 WDW Park Update on mouseplanet.com:

It's looking like the Breakfast and Beyond character dining experience at Hollywood & Vine at the Disney-MGM Studios will be delayed a little longer. We're now hearing rumors that the meal will not begin service until the beginning of June. Another rumor that we're starting to hear is that the character meal will take place at both breakfast and lunch, possibly endangering the working name of the meal.

Reportedly, characters at the meal will include a virtual "Who's Who" of Pixar characters, including Buzz Lightyear, Sarge (of Green Army Men fame) and Mr. Incredible. Of course, none of this is final until they actually start holding the event.

Here is what I know - I was talking yesterday to a head chef at Disney (one of the hotels) about a peanut allergy - we got to chatting, I asked him about H&V, he said he'd look into for me. He called me back 1/2 hour later and said he asked around a bit and they are looking at June or "early summer" (whatever that means), he said that is all they know at this point. I asked about when they were going to take ADR's he said he had no idea, he's a chef!

He told me that it is definatetly happening, they are working on a date.

If I remember correctly it was going to be called "Breakfast and Beyond".
So now it may be "Breakfast and Lunch and Beyond"?

I called today to start making my reservations for July and while I was on the phone I asked about the character meal at MGM (Hollywood & Vine). I was told that there is no character meal scheduled for MGM at any restaurant. I was also told and read somewhere else on another Disney forum website that there used to be a character meal at Hollywood & Vine and it was stopped.

Has anyone heard anything otherwise. I keep checking this forum because my 6 year old nephew would love to see the incredibles.

Any info will help. I really would like to make that one of the character meals that I go to.

Since I have the first post on this thread I wanted to have the 500th! Could you believe 500 posts?!! I have just about given up all hope that we will be able to do this meal in May. Maybe we will just have to plan a year end trip! I will keep updating the thread until ADR's are being accepted. Hang in there!!!!
