Hi!

My kids are 9 & 13. It's the first time my tiny DD is tall enough to go on all the rides.

What would recommend as the best flow to hit all the major attractions at MGM early -- any magic formula?

What things should we leave for the afternoon? Evening?

You guys are da' best!

Leaving in 8 days!

You should go STRAIGHT to Rock-n-Roller Coaster and ride that (possibly grabbing a fast pass for a second ride on the way in or out), then do Tower of Terror. Then probably hot foot it over to Star Tours (although the last time we rode it there was no line.)After that, check the show schedules for what you want to see. Most people want to see the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and that eats up a chunk of day. Fit the other things in around that: Muppets 3-D, Little Mermaid, Backlot tour, Great Movie Ride etc...

The hottest rides are RnR & TOT. I just checked the touring guide listed and agree that it would work great. Depending on your tolerance you can do RnR & TOT multiple times. Just get a fast pass before getting in a stand by line and then return to the fast pass line. My 11yo DD and I rode TOT 3 x and RnR 2 x in an hour doing this :p

I was done but she would have continued if she had someone willing

TOT also has short lines during parade and later times, since it is a pretty quick loading ride the lines move pretty quickly. It is not uncommon to find it with only about 15 min wait or even less. We've walked right on at times when we wouldn't expect to.
