MGM at night - is this possible?

Hi There,

We'll be at WDW from Aug 11th to 17th. On the 12th, I plan on taking my 4 and 2 year olds, hubby and parents to the Magic Kingdom. Because of my kids' ages, I'll only be doing a half day there and coming back to the BCVs for the afternoon.

I'm considering taking the boat to MGM after dinner and want to know if it's possible to see any shows when entering the park that late. If so, how many? My must-sees at MGM are the Muppets, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Playhouse Disney. Any info/opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Muppets and Little Mermaid show later in the evening, but Playhouse and Beauty & The Beast usually stop having shows earlier. The 12th is on a Thursday and the Playhouse last show on Thursdays is 5:45pm and the last show for B & B is 4:30.
