Well, after a 0/10 performance from MFI's Customer Services, we'd like to give a 10/10 to our local store manager who took the query on board, sorted it out and has arranged for delivery of the missing items!

Result - finally

We were lucky when we ordered a bed-sofa from them, all went very smoothly, in fact the delivery driver couldn't have been more helpful because it went around the back of the house through the bushes!!

However, I learnt my lesson with MFI years ago when we had a kitchen from them - some of the fixings weren't, shall we say, up to scratch - there was a scratch on the beech worksurface cunningly hidden under a cloth he'd left for "me to finish cleaning the glass display cabinet".

Since then, like someone has already suggested, I never sign anything without stating "signed for, but not checked".
