Mexico's Margarita Stand Closing

I was thinking the same thing. Those lines filled with children waiting for Anna & Elsa will be very, very long and will be stalled right in front of the old Margarita stand location. The stand has been way too popular & successful $$ for WDW to be disappeared. I bet it will reappear in another nook in Mexico out of sight of the kiddies.

I agree. They must make a killing at that stand.

My last trip to wdw I did not like tequila. After my last vacation to Mexico and a three hour tequila class / tasting I am a fan! Did the cart only serve frozen margaritas? Hoping to get one on the rocks without all the sugary mixers.

They are probably retheming to "Frozen" margaritas so adults can buy them while waiting in 3+ hour lines. They will grind up bits of Olaf in your glass and cover with tequila.

Yes, the stand had margs on the rocks and a tequila flight as well--granted, not as extensive as La Cava inside the Mexico pavilion, but then again--the wait at the kiosk is not as horrendous as La Cava either. :thumbsup2

I don't think Disney cares if kids can see it. I mean Walt was not into that idea but I don't care if Disney cares. I think they might be more worried about access to it and people not wanting to line break to get to it if the line is going to go past it.

Thanks! We'll be there during food & wine. Can't wait to have some tequila based cocktails!

This could well be it, too. Just a perfect storm of bottleneck in the World Showcase.
