Mexico restaurant not good for people with allergies

I Is there even any law regarding accommodations in dining/ingredients and if they must be made?

Do I know if it is legal for them to refuse me?
I think that there is no law regarding accommodations in food and dining or any requirement that they must make appropriate substitutions.
I think it is legal for them to refuse to serve you; or possibly more correct to say, they can advise you of what they can offer and then it's up to you to decide whether or not that is appropriate for you. So, they would probably say they are not refusing to serve, you are deciding whether to be served.

I don't think these are the answers that should be, but I think they are the true answers.

Another thing that people have mentioned about the table service restaurant in Mexico is that it is quite dark. That could make it more difficult to examine your food for things that might possibly cause a problem than it would be in a more well lit restaurant.
