Mexico - no non essential travel

Looks like the FCO have rasied their warning to advising against non essential travel.

I've just been watching GMTV at Manchester Airport those poor people have turned up to fly to Mexico are now waiting to see if they can holiday elseware. It must be so disappointing to have to change your plans at the final minute especially the honeymoon couples.

If this was a more ago we would be seriously worrying. Having only recently returned from Mexico and Hawaii, I'm seriously glad we did Mexico first.

about time too, the bloomin FCO are too afraid to put embargoes in place now because of the compensation they'll have to pay out. (another XL hangover). They should be putting passenger health and safety first instead of worrying about the costs involved.

I am worried where all this is going, I think I am going to stop watching the news and reading about it as it's only making me worry more!
One of the Mom's at DD's playgroup is due to go to mexico for her honeymoon at the start of July, but if this carries on the way it is then i can't see them being able to go, she said that the travel company said that they would get a full refund and only have to pay £40 in admin charges.
