Mexico margarita hut?

Ugh -- how hard it is to put up a margarita stand?! They were working on it in April!

I've been wondering the same. I can't imagine they want to miss out on the Food & Wine festival crowds as well as take some of the pressure off La Cava.

The "old" margarita stand was closed last November when we went to the F&W Festival. We saw the signs/walls where the new one will be. Can't believe it's STILL not open. However, from something I read it looked like they won't have the "old" standard frozen lime margarita. If not I'll have to stand in the long line at the Cantina like last year. #Packed #TookForever

Sadly, the Margarita Stand has been closed since May 31, 2016. When we were at F&W last year, we were assured the new permanent margarita location would be open by December 2016. Clearly, that didn't happen. When we were there in May 2017, we were assured by food service CMs in Mexico that it would be open within a couple months--still not happened. One would think they were building a new country pavilion and not just an outdoor taqueria. That stand has been under construction for over a year!

I have also heard that even when it opens, they will not be offering my favorite--the Fiesta margarita. Guess I will have to get my fix at AK--Triple Yeti Blast--same thing, different name. I would stand in line at the Cantina if need be, but why oh why can they not have a strawberry to layer with the mango and lime!
