Is there a wheel chair boat like at small world? I'm trying to finalize my groups touring plans for next week and I honestly cannot remember if I've seen one

Thanks!

Yes, there is.
Here’s a picture of the accessible boat. It’s kind of dark - sorry it’s eternal evening in Mexico, so not real easy to get pictures.;)

If you look in posts 18-20 of the disABILITIES thread, you will find information about which attractions have a wheelchair boat. That thread is near the top of this board or you can follow the link in my signature to get there.

thanks so much! that link is actually great I'm putting together a list of rides and types of transfers that each of our students would need so ill deifnately use some of that info too for the most park ive been doing it by memory

If you have not looked at the Epcot FAQs thread, page 2 of that thread has photo montages of most attractions.

I also have pictures of most ride cars ( including the accessible ones or ADA ones) . Not all the pictures are posted, but if you let me know which ones you want, I will try to hunt them down and post.

Just a side note- the boat in Mexico is a little different than the ones in small world, as the person using the wheelchair sits up much higher than the rest. We actually laughed at my dad because it looks like he is some sort of king or god up there :) But in all seriousness, towards the end there is a bumpy part when the boat goes back up into the que. Or when another boat hits from behind at the que where he has asked that we put our hand on the back of his chair because he feels like he is getting jostled and doesn't have a lot of control because he is up so high.

We have always found the accessible boat in Mexico to be easy and enjoyable for my son. It is rather high up, though, like the PP mentioned.

We have not found that much difference in how high DD sits on her wheelchair on the Mexico boat compared to the Small World boat. She is sitting higher than us in both. The seats on the Mexico boat may have been a tad lower, which makes the wheelchair user sit higher in comparison.
