Any thoughts on what would be the best month to cruise the Mexican Riviera? I've heard (and experienced) "June Gloom" in San Diego. Are June and July better months? Thanks for your help!

I'd go in June or early July. It's their rainy season and July and August will be much wetter and more humid. I think you can get the weather on Wunderground.com - very good breakdowns on each month by day and even time of day! We went in early June and it was June gloom here, but nice in Mexico.

I echo ppiglet's sentiments as we were on the same Mexican Rivera cruise. Weather was great in Mexico.

We sailed the Magic in June 2005 to Mexico. It was the last week of June, first week of July. I have to say the weather was pretty nice. The two days at sea were great! It was hot, but not unbearable. I know the tour guides said that the end of July and all of August and September would be really hot and humid. I do remember that in Cabo, the water was cold! I did not want to go in...but there were plenty of people who did. The last day at sea was kinda windy and cold, but it was still nice. I sure hope to go again if they do it in 2008!

I live in SanDiego and we have what is called June gloom...no sun and still a little chilly at times. Our warmest months are July Aug and Sep and Oct. As far as being humid we have no humidity...not what you would think of as Florida or back east.

As far as in Mexico...June,July or Aug would be fine. There will be some humidity but not like in Florida.

We will be going on the Mexican Riviera cruise also and will be doing it in July and maybe again earl August.. July will be warmer than June in all Ports so I would say do July or Aug.....

Hope this helps.:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone! It sounds like we can't go wrong with June/July/August.

BTW GotDisney...I love San Diego! It's a great city.
