Mexican Riviera: 09/25/11 - 10/02/11

Alright I'm going to cheat a little. I'm already pulling together a trip report on my blog. It's going to take a little time as it is being pulled together a day at a time. I have just too much info to deal with. I will keep giving you a link across to my blog...sorry hope you don't mind, but there you will find the info as it gets updated. With the weekend coming I'll hopefully get another day or two done tomorrow, but then I doubt I'll get a chance over the weekend as my 4 year old DD has 3 birthday parties!!

As I participated in the FE I did a post just about my gifts. This was my family's first cruise, first Disney cruise and first FE. Somehow I pulled together the FE for us and loved it. Loved meeting everyone and have definitely made friends for life. Here's the first link:

Reading along - nice blog posts. Love this pics as well. Hoping to do this cruise in January (yes, I have about 14 days to 'finally' decide if it can really be done).

Thanks for referencing the places for a pre-cruise stay. Going to go check out the Doubletree (although I know you didn't stay there).

Hopefully I am going to find time to get at least 1 more day done today. Sorry each post is taking around 90 minutes. Unfortunately I have husband sick at home so need to drive him to the Dr. Hopefully won't have to take him anywhere else for xrays etc.

Thanks for the update. We're driving over from Phoenix on Friday and will be boarding the Wonder on Sunday, so your report is getting me 'in the mood'?

Did you prefer eating breakfasts and lunches at the buffets or the sit-down restaurants? Perhaps with a young child e buffets are easier? My kiddo is older so I would love sit-down restaurants for all breakfasts which would be a fun treat for me....I may be doing it alone some mornings if sleepy son and husband don't cooperate LOL

Thanks. Glad you're enjoying yourself. Hopefully I'll get round to another update, but it won't be until later as I'm going with my daughter on her school field trip for the day.

I had so much fun making the FEs. I just wish I could be going on a cruise every 6 months to have the fun of making them again.

A little later in the day getting this one out. I ended up doing a school field trip with my daughter all day. My husband is still at home and looks to be for the foreseeable future. Something has shown up on his X-Rays from yesterday and I'm now taking him for an MRI tomorrow afternoon. My daughter is at home tomorrow too as it is a Teacher Training Day (or whatever it is called), plus I have the carpet people coming to re-stretch our carpet as it has been down for a year and you can see the seams.

Anyway don't want to bore you as I know you're only here to read the TR. For those of you getting ready to go I'm really jealous.
