Mexican Restaurants in Epcot - Picky Eater?

I'm looking at booking a table at either of the mexican restaurants in Epcot for our trip in October but the brother-in-law is a picky eater. My understanding when it comes to Mexican he only eats beef tacos with cheese...no lettuce, tomatoes, nothing else. Or he'll eat a beef burritto...but again, pretty plain...beef, cheese, and sauce...no "rabbit food" as he calls it.

I'm looking over both menus and don't see any made to order "plain" tacos, burrittos or even enchilidas. Does anyone know if he'd end up being happy at either of these restaurants? If so, which of the two?

We'll also all be on the dining plan...I hate to have a big ordeal of him wanting something not on the dining plan...:confused3

If you are talking about ground beef tacos you won't find those at any of the restaurants.

If he will eat grilled beef, they do sell those, and they don't put anything but the beef in the taco. Actually the best place to get them is the counter service. You may have to ask if the restaurants will do up a plate of beef tacos with nothing on them but cheese. La Hacienda has a taco appetizer but they are small, and they're not all beef; maybe he could ask for just beef. But he isn't going to get ground beef, if that's what he eats. I don't believe either Mexican restaurant serves burritos.

I don't think San Angel is for him. This restaurant is not a tex mex style mexican food, as we are used to here in the states. It is more traditional in it's dishes. So I would definitely skip this one for him.

As for the others...I don't know, haven't been.

you might be able to find regular tacos or fajitas at ESPN club or Trex cafe or Rainforest Cafe. Also you could check out Pepper Market at Coronado Springs

Neither restaurant in Mexico serves the Americanized Tex Mex version of Mexican food you refer to. None serve enchiladas or burritos. The tacos are not ground beef and there is no cheese on them. It is the native cusine of Mexico, not what we are used to at our chain restaurants.
I don't think it sounds like it will meet your needs.
