Hi Everyone,

3 weeks to go  so getting down to a few final details!

Were taking the Eurostar into Gare Du Nord, stopping over night in Paris and then taking the RER down to DLP on the morning. We then have a 2 nights in Paris after our DLP stay.

I've figured that is better to buy an orig-dest tkt for the Paris - DLP - Paris parts of the trip but will have a few odd metro/RER journeys within Paris for the remainder of our trip.

As a family can we share a carnet of tkt's between us? I don't think we'll be using the metro enough to justify visite passes.

Thanks,
Clayre :)

yes - if the journeys are within central Paris then each one will be one ticket - the carnet has 10 tickets and they can be used by anyone - when you buy them you just get given 10 tickets

You can buy a carnet of 10 tickets for your Paris-DLP-Paris travel too and it might be cheaper than buying individual tickets depending on how many people you are and the age of the children (if any) going :)

There's 2 adults and 1 six year old. So I think the DLP parts might be better separate, correct??

The 6 year old gets 50% off their ticket so that would be 3,50€ per ticket and adults are now 7€ per ticket so it will be cheaper than a carnet :goodvibes

In Paris as well you can get the 50% for a child on a carnet so 6,25€ for 10 and 12,50€ for 10 adult tickets rather than 1,70€ per ticket.
