Home sick - upset cause I can't find all the work I did and/or scanned last few weeks.... I am beside myself cause I worked many hours on stuff and it is gone... Did backup end of June but not in 2 weeks....

I think we have some good news to share. Looks like we have Section 8 renters very interested in M&D's house. They are relatives of one of the ladies that lived in the house while taking care of Mom. I had no idea the house could stay on the market while being rented or we would have done this a long time ago.

Looks like this weekend is getting more jam packed, Kyle just told me he's pitching for the Westbank Dizzy Dean team in the state championship opening round game on Saturday. Looks like we'll be non-stop this weekend.

Yes, the truck came this afternoon. It got unloaded in between rain showers. Now we are unpacking the boxes. What a mess we are making!

My puppy is doing well.

I need to go to NYC for a meeting to take them paperwork in person. WTH? What century is this? I have to go at the end of this month/beginning of next. At least now I'll be able to use that $13.85 left on my Metrocard.

Bethany- happy you and Annabelle(cute name) are settling in. Sorry you have to go back to NYC so soon-it woulda been nice in a few months-like over thanksgiving!

OK- so I really messed my hair up tonight -which is why I am still up. I TRIED to save money(hahahaha) and fill in my roots-BIG FREAKIN mistake- my hair was like orange-just at the roots- so I sent hubby out for just dying it all over again0ugh... It is frying my head as I type. I am sooo mad at myself for wanting to save a few bucks. Just spend it already!

On top of that, I am dying the "flowers" costumes green- for Alice in Wonderland-DD11 is a daisy. The dye they gave me turned some things green/gray and some things a pretty green(almost a dark deep shade of sage)- I rinsed and rinsed and then washed and dried.

Gotta go do that to my head-all for about an inch of growth that was driving me nutty- but I wasn't looking forward to 5 hours in the salon to fix it. Taking matters into my own hands? very time consuming and pricey!

Lori, How did your hair come out? I hope you were able to fix it! I'm really surprised the root touch up messed up. I've used it a couple of times, when I couldn't get into the salon. It was fine, not a perfect match, but at least not grey!

I have to get back on the phone to the dr. They gave me an antibiotic yesterday so I could get over this sinus thing. Yeah I woke up in the middle of the night all splotchy and itching all over. Benadryl has helped, but now that means I'm allergic to 2 classes of antibiotics.

Lori, I've used the root touch up too with no problems. That's scary that it fried your hair. I hope you can get it all fixed today.

Kodi is so cute. Do you dress her up for all the holidays? I seem to remember a picture of her with MG beads on. My dog would just try to eat whatever I put on her at this point.

I'm unpacking and finding homes for things. I found my Mickey coffee scoop! And the only box of clothes I've opened so far had sweaters, sweatshirts, and blankets in it. Won't be needing those for a bit...well, maybe the blankets...

I don't have to cook tonight! Not that I don't enjoy cooking, because I do. But we have my niece's rehearsal dinner tonight and it's at The Columns on St Charles. I'm excited because I've never been there & just want to see the place. The wedding Saturday is going to be a St Patrick's and then the receptions at Southern Oaks. I'm worried about the parking at St. Pat's but we'll get to check that out tonight. Going downtown with a side-ramp van can be a real pain sometimes. I'm not complaining though, before the van, I'd be dressed up & having to lift & move DH into the old van. So that's right! I'm happy we have the van & get to go!!
