Checking in. I know some of you read my facebook, but for everyone else I will recap:
Tuesday night around 6pm Kurt jr runs into the living room(from his bedroom) crying hard. I am in the kitchen so Kurt Sr intercepts and asks him "What's wrong", "Did you fall", etc. All KJ would do was sob. So I stopped cooking and scooped him up to comfort him. Well I then noticed he was clutching his arm. He still wouldn't say what was wrong...
So I took him next door to my Mom's, thinking maybe mawmaw can help. After a few minutes he finally stopped crying but refused to tell me what happened. So I went home to get dressed(to take him to EJ After Hours) and to get him so fresh clothes.
By the time I got back they finally talked him into confessing that he was jumping on his bed...slammed into the wall and then onto the floor!!!
Well we went to EJAH and they x-rayed his arm and found nothing, told us to give him Motrin and if he was still protecting his arm(he was constantly holding his arm to his chest) in the morning to go see an orthopedist.
He cried all night, so neither he nor I got any sleep.
I woke up bright and early this morning(Wed) and called an Ortho they listed and they couldn't see him until...get this....
2 WEEKS!!! HUH??
So my Mom made a call to her Ortho and got us in today. We waited for 2 1/2 hours to be seen, but in hindsight it was better than 2 weeks.
So he doesn't have an apparent fractures but the Dr was worried about how he was holding his arm, and the pain he was in...so they put it in a soft cast and sling.
Tonight he was ready to take it off...lol.
He is still in pain, but at least he was able to sleep.
Check in later!
