Meteor shows coming up

Meteor shower I never manage to get up to see these. I'm going to try really hard this time.

OK, I can't find the meteor shower article, but...

I saw one last night when I was driving home from Orlando! It scared me half to death! It looked reeeeeally low. For a split second I thought it was a plane crashing or something, and it made me jolt and swerve my car. But it moved way too fast and the lights disappeared, so then I realized what it was. I haven't seen one that low in about 8 years. It's scary when you're not expecting it!

DH and I were on a cruise last year for the Leonids on Nov. 18. It was absolutely amazing! The pre-dawn sky was full of meteors. It was even better than I expected. We are doing another cruise this year, but will be a week too late for the Leonids.

I saw two last night. I told D there must be a meteor shower coming up. I guess I was right.
