Saw three this morning at about 5:00. They were in the eastern sky and I'm in southern Arizona. I love seeing these and also try to see the International Space Station and/or the shuttle when able to. My dad worked for NASA, and I grew up counting satellites with him at night while stretched out on the ground.

Does anyone remember seeing the great Leonid shower about 8 or 9 years ago?

The 20th will also be a night to see, a full lunar eclipse.

We had our first snow of the season (only about half an inch, but enough to make the kids insane with joy.)

So we missed the meteor shower, but made up for it-- at least from the perspective of the kids.
