Questions about the metal detectors on the big rides -

I heard that you are able to (and almost required to) keep your lanyard on with your passes, as you need them to open the lockers. And I believe you're supposed to tuck them into your shirt - is that correct?. I'm not sure if there is metal on my lanyard.

I presume that mask lanyards are ok as well to keep your mask secure? My mask lanyard has small metal lobster clasps that attach to the mask. Is that going to be a problem?

The pass lanyards will be fine going through the detector. I can't remember if they have you take them off before you pass through or if you leave them on and it just "overlooks" them somehow. Definitely tuck them into your shirt before riding so they don't fly off mid-ride! It's not required, just recommended.

The metal detectors aren't usually on a sensitive settings. When the airport metal Detectors are set to sensitive I have to remove my belt and watch. Never at Universal.

Every time I ride the Hulk my lanyard sets off the metal detector so I keep it out and they wand me. It is one of the Harry Potter lanyards and it's only the clip and the metal that holds the ribbon to the ribbon. I removed the fancy doohickey that was made out of metal and it still goes off. Doesn't it take that much time to get wanded
