Metal Detectors on Board

Does anyone know if you can still take metal detectors on board the ships? Thanks in advance. Lisa

do you mean the kind for finding metal on the beach??? Good question. I do not know but I have never seen anyone with one (and we have sailed 7 times with DCL).

No, you can't. We were going to get a detector for our DS for his birthday but checked with DCL 1st & were told that they wouldn't even allow it on board.
