Metabolism Test with Body Composition Analysis

I did it years ago (back in 2007) and thought it was OK but nothing great. I didn't think it was really a good use of the money but didn't cost that much so wasn't overly concerned.

I've always avoided these things on board ship. They are basically just a hook to get you to buy one of their services/products.

My sister did it last fall and she very much enjoyed the 3(?) sessions, I believe that it took. I didn't get the impression that she got a hard sales pitch at the end; just remember that her trainer was amazing and she was very positive, every time she went. The sessions themselves cost around $200, I think, but I can't remember for sure. I went to the fitness center as well and my sister's workouts were pretty intense. We both loved the fitness center and would recommend the personal training services.

I did this on our last cruise. I wanna say it was around $60. I didn't think it was worth it. They are just measuring your body fat % and you hydration level. IMO it was another way for them to try to sell you their products. I got the hard sale. The trainer didn't discuss eating options or workout suggestions just told me to buy their supplements. I love the spa and fitness center but if i heard about "lactic acid" one more time, someone was gonna get a towel in the face (j/k).

A lot of scales will track your body fat. The Fitbit Aria will graph it.
