It turns out her parents are DVC members! I was so excited because, as I've said here, I don't know ANY DVC members (except those I've met here). It started when she told me that her parents live at Vero Beach and frequently go to WDW. I was so excited-now he'd BETTER keep her around. He's 34 yo and lives in NYC, about 2 thousand miles from us, so that's why he was dating her for so long before I met her Another Disney nut!

How exciting!! My DD met her now husband on a Disney Cruise and his parents are DVC members. We have taken numerous family trips to Disney in the 12 years they have been together and they got married at WDW in 2013.

I know couple DVC Members outside of those from the boards. My dentist's daughter's in-laws are members, and a woman I used to work with and her husband, who live in South Carolina now, are members...and we reconnected through the DIS.

You son's girlfriend sounds like a perfect match, Simba's Mom.
