Messenger style bags

I now see how they can be useful for manouverability in tight crowded spaces.

Does anyone use them at the parks? What kind of weight load do you put in them? How long can you carry it for?

I bought a used (very slightly) Tamrac adventure messenger bag. I think it's going to be fabulous for just a body with lens attached.
I haven't used it in the parks yet, but did just go to the county fair with it and it worked out well.

I love my Tamrac Adventure Messenger 4. I use it primarily as a lens bag though and keep my camera around my neck. I would not use it in the parks though. Because of how I wear the bag it rests right at my hips and makes my already wide curves even wider. So I don't fit though tight spaces easily.
