Message Boards Before Teen Board

Have you guys ever been on any message boards before DIS and the Teen board? I have.

Angel 624 Forum:
This was a long time ago,maybe when I was 10. I joined a forum dedicated to Lilo & Stitch and Angel 624. I remember being an outcast and so different from everyone else,but they took me in as a family. After that,we just went our seperate ways and when I was 13,the admins found out I was underage and banned me. Which was unfair because you could be 13 to join. I don't talk to them much anymore.

Flapjack Forum:
After the Angel 624 forum,I didn't think about joining a forum dedicated to Flapjack,but I did. They were a much different family than the AF people. They weren't very nice to me at first,but then we all became friendly to each other. I even internet-dated someone. It was funny,but he broke up with me because he liked someone in real life,lol. When Flapjack ended,the admins made a new forum to dedicate to Cartoon Network shows,but no one posted and we never talked to each other again.

DIS/Teen Board
I didn't find out about this place from anyone,I discovered it myself. I was just searching a Disney forum and this was the first result. It looked like a good place to start. Once I saw how you guys posted,I felt shy to post back. Once I got used to the posting ways,I started to crawl out of my shell. Now,I've made lovely friends like Sara,Sarah,Drew,Timmy,etc.

House of Jigsaw:
It was a Saw fan forum, back when I was obsessed with it. I joined when I was 12 I never told anyone how old I was until I was 13 because I was worried about getting banned. I met a girl my age there last year and we kinda became best friends. I made a thread about Disney and a member on there recommended me to the DIS and that's how I found out about you guys. But then I stopped going on there back in May and started coming on here around July. And I still kinda obsessed with Saw.

Guitar Hero Hub:

I'm obsessed with Guitar Hero, but now that they done with GH games, I don't go on anymore.

IMDB:

I still go on this, mostly to discuss my favorite movies.

Rock Band Forums:

Same with Guitar Hero, except RB isn't closed and I still go on it.

Indy Mogul:

I used to go on this back when I made videos with my friends in the summer.

The Twilight Saga

Kinda started my online rampage. I joined like the day after I finished the books. This was where I got interested in writing and reading a lot more. I've met many life long web friends through here. I sadly was banned because of some conflict with the mods. Many of my friends were banned for that reason. It isn't as great as it used to be so I rarely go on but keep in touch with my friends on there. One of the girls I met on there in later times, told me about this site, which she doesn't go on, but knows about. I've been trying to get her on since, y'all would love her.

Legion of Fiction Writers and Readers, Rogue Fanfic, FFFS, FFFW, etc.

There were so many sites after The Twilight Saga, I must put them into one category. I've met so many amazing people through them. I've learned about tons of new books, movie series and such. They are all in one category because I'm no longer on them, they are gone or I was banned for being underaged. A lot of them were my own sites. I'll just leave them at that.

Free Writers and Readers

I'm currently on this and check back in now and then. I definitely made some great friends on there, but I feel a disconnect now. Its really sad. I'll probably be more active there during the summer. Always brings me back to the fun times I had on The Twilight Saga.

I'm A Gleek

This I'm on too. I currently have a site for Digital Art and my host told me she had made a boards for Glee fans after learning my obsession. I used to bounce between here and there, but its not as active over there anymore. I'm also not as big a fan of Glee anymore.

DisBoards

As I said, I learned about this place from a Disney loving friend. She sadly isn't on here, but I joined. I was very quiet when I first joined. I wrote a little in the TB and my first thread was for my trip that was a few months before I joined. I've redone that report a few times now. It hasn't gotten very many readers since the trip is basically a year old now. I will prevail though. It wasn't until around later months, I think maybe around November or December, two or three months after I joined when I started talking with people. I think Drew was the first person I met. I also kinda caught myself in conversations with George, Jade and a few other DISers I don't see on very much anymore. It was when I met Val that I really started talking on here a lot more. I've become close with many people on here now. It is a great site here. I mostly post in here, the TR section and the Theme Parks Discussion and Strategies area.

This is fairly recent. I heard about it after I got one of their apps on my iPod. Then, I read people's post with links to the site, so I decided to join up. I've been bouncing between here and there because my host for a site I'm on just recently joined there. She's going on her first family Disney trip. I tried to bring her over here after spamming her tagboard on her website. Not too happy about that :/ So that is another site I'm on un momento.

I really posted mainly on the Trip Reports board, where I have so many good- adult!- friends! Most of them have left (passed away or life is too busy for them to ever come on ): ) But they'll always be my number one friends on here, LOL. Then I slowly made my way for the TB. And I befriended Allie and Lizzy one day and we really took off from there. They were like my bestfriends ever, then Eimear and I started to talk because she had just gotten back from Boston, then Meg and I became close, and everything else just fell into place I guess.

The other one is Justin Bieber Fanfiction I just go on there and read endlessly. I don't really want to make friends on there, I just want to read their stories! Hahahaha.

No wonder you get so many readers on there. LOL I think that's where I first went in the first time I joined here. I can't believe you've met some that passed away. So sad... :'(

LOL. If I don't update mine frequently people don't comment. My latest one had a ton of people off the intro and the first chapter. Now, I've lost more than half and half I talk to daily, you know who you are LOL I'm kidding. My chapters are sooper long!

A Corpse Bride forum that got me into the joy of online friendships. After a while, people stopped joining us and we ran out of on-topic things to talk about, so we kind of disbanded, but I still talk to my GM girls on DeviantArt and AIM ^__^

I'm actually an admin over here-- it's JUST like the TB, except we have more of a focus on Disney movies than the parks. We even have a roleplay section! I have so many AMAZING friends over there, and I love that site and all of them with all my shriveled black villainess-y heart! <3

A Labyrinth site mostly devoted to roleplaying. I play Jareth, which is awesome because it basically means all the goings-on revolve around me

A Disney roleplay site that kind of died after about a month. Sad, really. I had a fantastic Tiana to my Facilier over there.

this is the first Discussion board i've ever joined .i did do a few online games though. i did Webkinz until like 7th grade. and then there was club penguin. i probly have like 10 penguins on there because i keep forgeting my password lol but i havent been on since Disney bought it lol. i also did a game called meez but i just didn't fit in there so i quit after about 6 months. now im here. my mom has been a member for years now and i finally decided to make an account so i could post on our cruise's teen/tween board. so then i found the teen board and totally fell in love. i finally found people like me . Disney Freaks seem to be a rarity in our age group so i'm glad i found this place . i'm still kinda new but i do talk to Drew and alot of the people that do the MM's alot

it's basically the british equivalent of the dis, they class you as their 'enemies' LOL. major goodtimes on that board. i had 5 bestfriends, rachel, meg, eilidh, mary and becki. i'm friends with rachel, meg and becki on facebook and i have mary and eilidh on msn, even though i never go on anymore LOL. we had this whole roleplay thing goin' in '08. it was seriously legit fun, and then a bunch of 10 year olds came on and took over and it sucked, so none of us ever post there anymore and we never talk ):

The DIS
so, i joined in 2009, after the dibb got invaded. i started to talk to ellie and elin, and i was really friendly with emily too.. then i didn't come on for ages, and then when i came back from boston, i got back into it... and i started talking to sara, and we became bestfriends, and then i started talking to meg and we were super close and we still talk on facebook :') and then i became friends with zack because of our love for the red sox, allie, allie, lizzie, grace... that was one damn good summer.

so yeah
