Feels a little odd we haven’t seen any merrytime merch yet, outside of stateroom gifts and popcorn buckets … curious if they are skimping this year and just doing generic holiday stuff or not?
We were on the first Very Merrytime sailing of the year on the Wish last week (11/4-11/8). All the seasonal merch was in the shops on embarkation day. The popcorn buckets and sippers changed daily. Not to say they took away items, just that every day there was something new available. Not sure if this is common on the themed cruises or if it was like this because we were on the first of the season. The in-room celebration kits were lovely. We got one for our kids. It included a very large and fluffy fleece blanket, a way-too-big-to-go-in-our-already-overstuffed-suitcases-on-the-way-home pillow, two hanging banners, a super cute Stitch stocking and a Captain Mickey shoulder plush. They offered two Christmas trees, but we canceled our order prior to embarkation when we learned that we can't take them off the ship with us and $165 for a 3-foot tree we have to toss after four nights felt crazy, even by DCL standards. The treats basket was 8 Rice Krispie treats decorated with holiday theming. We got those, too and they were pretty tasty but very sweet.
I wish I had taken photos of everything, but unfortunately I didn't think to do that.
