We are going to try to make our first his year. We know it is at Epcot and the days, but I have a couple of questions.

What time does the event usually run from and to?

Where in Epcot is the event ?

Any tips ?

We've been a few times - mostly just to pick up our free treat and Christmas ornament, and to get a picture with characters dressed up in their Holiday attire. We also register for the drawing, but are not interested in purchasing anything - they usually have some DVC items (incl pins) available.

There is also some type of dance party / loud music playing and many seem to enjoy that.

There has been a huge line waiting to get in at opening. It moves, but it could take a while to actually get in. We usually go around 4 pm so that we don't have to wait to get in. That's still been plenty of time for us to enjoy the event. :)

I don't think they run out of the ornaments as it is one per DVC membership so at 4:00 PM there is no problem getting the ornament. You receive the ornament when you leave. Pictures can be a bit tricky. The lines for getting photos with characters get pretty long, so we never wait for them as we get photos taken with Mickey and Minnie in holiday costumes at the parks. But Donald and Daisy are there and often so are Chip and Dale and sometimes Goofy. So to be first or close to first in line you would have to get there at least 2 hours before the party. Not that I would ever do that. They do sometimes run out of cookies or rice crispy treats. But then in the past one person would take a dozen cookies when they only had 4 guests. I think one year you had to turn in a ticket stub to get the items and you were given tickets for each member of your party. I cannot remember if that was continued last year or not. But it kept people from being greedy.

Thanks! This would be a compelling reason to go at 4pm instead of waiting in line 2 hours before it even opens!!

Last year (our first Merry Mixer), they did give each of us a ticket for a cookie, thus preventing folks from clearing out the tables of treats.

I have a Frozen Ever After FP at 4:30-5:30. I assume if I got to the MM by 3:45 or 4 I would be ok? We do not plan to stay at the event long. Will there be a line to get in at that time?

We walk in at 4:00 with no line and people are already leaving. Seems to me that attendance is less now than a few years ago.

When do they usually post the times for the event. It is still not on the website.
