Merry Member Mixer

I remember the Merry Member Mixer from last year. I was not able to go bu tdoes anyone remember when it was held and how often. Also has anyone heard if they will be hosting this again this year??

If I remember correctly it is held on Wednesdays from the end of November until the end of December at the entrance to Epcot.

Yes, at the International Gateway. We went last year, and it was nice, some refreshments, merchandise, Photo Ops, entertainment, and games for the kids. They also gave each person a nice ornament- pewter.

Actually, it was Thursdays from like 3pm-5pm near the International Gateway. And I don't think we heard anything "official" about it until November. I know I'm really hoping that they do this again.

It didn't start until December, so for those of us there the week after Thanksgiving, we missed it. With my luck, if they have it again this year, it will start December 6, so I'll miss it again.

In 2006 it was Wed. in Dec. and last year it was Thurs. in Dec. I have heard nothing yet though.

What is it with these men and not taking time off in December? Mine can't either. That's why my trips in December are always solo. I'd love the Merry Mixers to start the week after Thanksgiving this year. It would be so much fun to finally get to attend one-if anyone hears anything, please let us know.

We went in 2005 because Thanksgiving was later that year. We go the week after Thanksgiving. Last year we missed it because Thanksgiving was earlier in the month.

If they do it in December again, we will miss it again this year.

We're there the first week of December. The 5-11th (but 9 & 10th we'll be at Vero)

I'm sure DVC will announce it when they are ready and I'm equally sure as soon as it is announced we'll know about it here on the DIS.
