merry member mixer 2016

does anyone know when the posted the dates for the 2015 mixers? just trying to plan for when they might be held in 2016. ms doesn't know when they will be posted. so thought I'd ask here to see when they posted 2015 to give me an idea when they might post 2016.

Not sure what the mixer is exactly, but there is a DVC member event on Feb. 25, 2016 at MK from 7-midnight. It's free, has light refreshments and select rides available. It's listed on the DVC website on 25th celebrations. Reservations are needed.

The Merry Mixer is a party they have inside Epcot for DVC members. There is entertainment, refreshments and every family gets an ornament.

I hope it happens when we are there. We've booked dec 3-13th so I'm crossing my fingers.

Personally I would prefer a perk that benefits all members vs random exclusive parties on dates when most ppl aren't going to be there

Yes.

I think it was a bit nicer when they held it outside the International gateway or even at one of the convention centers so that a park ticket wasn't a requirement to attend a party where the requirement is to own DVC.

I agree. I'm going twice this year(July and Nov) and none of the parties are running while i'm there. Would have been nice

They don't issue tickets for the Merry Member Mixers.

That's 90 years from now, doubtful tickets will go on sale until 2105 at the earliest.

The Merry Mixers do not require tickets, only a "blue" DVC membership card and possible picture ID.

People start lining up around 2 PM, door opens at 3:00. We go around 4:00 to miss the line.

That's exactly what I do. It's a huge room. I often wonder why people like to stand in line so much?

The association meeting takes reservations but not the Mixers.

Does DVC have Official Hours announced for the Merry Mixer, YET?!
MS has been told nothing!

MS ALSO said they have been told nothing about them giving the DVC Families the Traditional Ornament! MS thinks it is likely that there will be NO gift this year!
