Merry Christmas! I got a 50mm 1.8!

My mother in law gave me and my wife $100 each to spend on a gift for ourselves. So, I called around to see if I could find the 50, but no luck...Sold out everywhere if I wanted a new one. I found one at the camera co-op in Houston for $91. Weather is too bad to do anything tonight but I cant wait. I have a d60, so I have to relearn how to focus, but next year when I get my d90, life will be great. If you have the 50, I would love to see some shots, especially d60 and the 50!

Mine came earlier this week as a gift from my son (nothing works better than a printout from Amazon!) so I had an excuse to open it for practice before the holiday shots next week.

Now we have a major snowstorm coming tonight so I hope to get some shots outside too!

Here's one of my first pictures! It (I ) needs some work but I love this lens already!
