As for Meredith, she totally lost my respect when she dumped Mathew after telling him she'd love a ring from him, I mean COME ON...

What she said she wanted & what she chose were POLAR OPPOSITES... Ian is like the bad kid from high school your parents didn't want you to date! Apparently, Meredith went back to her old preferences which hadn't gotten her married by age 30 mind you... If she had really wanted to settle down, she would have appreciated and loved what she had in Mathew...

I'm still quite upset about this! The poor guy, totally rots for him!

Three months from now Ian & Meredith will be history I'm certain!

But she didn't say she'd love a ring, she said she'd be honored to be offered one. I've been honored by lots of thing I didn't really want - like getting an award.

I'm still of the opinion that Meredith was probably contractually obligated to make it appear that she hadn't already made up her mind. She is probably also contractually prohibited from saying "they were pressuring me for more intimate footage or feelings of permanence with Matthew" - she can't defend herself.

Even though she wears weird clothes, I still like Meredith - very girl next door IMO. She obviously felt very torn about hurting Matthew - but had put herself in that position by accepting the role of bachelorette. He also accepted the role of one of the bachelors.

Sounds to me like a little more than she'd be honored to get something she didn't want.

Isn't she under contract that if she says anything "wrong or if she gives too much information away before the end" that she is liable for alot of $ in fines due to a broken contract? I didn't see when he met her parents or what she said, but she did look sorry for hurting him on the last rose ceremony. I agree I liked her better on the bachelor. She seemed like such a smart a_ _ with all her eye rolling on her own show and all her smart comments. I really didn't see the big deal when Rick made up the game where she had to guess things about the guys she was with. Why can't she be put on the spot a little? Everyone else is. She got too big for her britches IMHO! These shows are getting old that is for sure. Hopefully the "game" will be up and they will cancel all future shows. I certainly didn't like that bachelor (banker) from Missouri that broke the engagement with the girl from the East Coast (Helene). And Bob made me want to barf! I couldn't stand him. How on earth could that Rebecca date him? Whenever I watch AMC now I look at her in a whole different light.

I feel the EXACT same way. I have lost total respect for her, sad but true.
