Meredith & Matt's PJ-June 19th, 2011 Germany/LSS - Completed TR and Blog Feature!

I love your pictures. I think I posted before, but just incase I didn't, you look so beautiful! I'm so eager to hear more so here's a friendly *bump*!

I know I've been MIA for a bit. I feel like the summer is flying by and I just want to be down the shore all the time! Anyway, our package of pictures came in :cool1: I've uploaded a few to shutterfly so I'll give a little taste before the ceremony. These are some of my favorites from getting ready, first look and before the ceremony :goodvibes

before everyone got there

I promise I'll have more soon and my favorite from the bridal party portraits. Hopefully I can get back on the computer later tonight.

We did bridal party pictures before the ceremony around Germany. It really was the best time to do these because we had the park to ourselves and it wasn't hot yet. We were just having a good time standing around and taking it all in :goodvibes After the pics we were able to hide out in the stores with AC and wait for our guest to arrive. I was making sure I drank a TON of water because Amy said that was the most important thing for me to do. Well I drank so much that I had to run to the bathroom before the ceremony started. All the guests were seated and I had to sneak out of the store and around the corner. The groomsman thought I was making a run for it! :rotfl:

These are my favorites from the pics before the ceremony...

Lovely pictures! The one where you said you can't decide if you like the black and white or color one better, I say the color one. The black and white is pretty, but notice you kind of lose your flowers in it? Maybe doing one of those photoshop thingies where they put color back in JUST the flowers?

Funny, I was going to say black and white until I read this comment and I agree that you kind lose the bouquet without the color. They are both lovely though--I think your pics turned out so nice!

OOOOOOO that's a really good idea! I'm going to try that!

Thanks!! It's always a boost of confidence when people like your pics :goodvibes

So after I was done peeing we were just waiting around for the guests to get settled and get the show on the road. Then Amy came in talking so fast about the cuckoo clock. I think I caught ever other word but she was saying that the clock wasnt going off at the right times and they didn't know when it was going to go off and she didn't know what I wanted to do.....

I really didn't care if the cuckoo clock when off really, I thought it would actually be pretty cool but I could tell Amy was worried. So I told her, I'll do whatever you want me to do...you're the professional. I think she said we should start the ceremony early...honestly I can't remember what she said I was just going along with it all. Next thing I knew my dad and I were ready to come out of the store and walk down the aisle :banana:

I think the ceremony took a total 13 min and it was perfect!! The sun was just starting to come over the buildings so it was going to get hot fast. The ceremony flew by, but I was really trying to concentrate hard on what Jack was saying and take it all in. I wish I had focused more on the music because I can't even remember it. Jack talked like he knew us for 15 years and he really made the ceremony special  Before I knew it we were walking down the aisle married!! Everyone was getting set up for the staged exit so DH and I got a little quiet time over by the stores in the shade. We were just so excited and giddy about the whole thing.

Waiting for the girls to get there

Almost there :goodvibes

Of course the cuckoo clock came out to Amy's dismay
ry%3D400

Everyone was laughing and I just thought it was so cute. It really made the ceremony memorable and people still talk about it. Honestly it went on for at least 3 minutes but it was awesome...I think I watched it the whole time

I really love this pic...I say that for a lot I guess

After the staged exite we took family portraits in Germany and then everyone was off to enjoy cocktail hour. We took a few more pics in Germany by ourselves and were about to walk over the Italy. The girls from the Karmel shop wanted us to stop in before we left to give us a treat!! It was so sweet of them :goodvibes They made us chocolate covered strawberries and some marshmallows. We saved them as a snack in hotel room after the reception...delicious

I love that your ceremony was short, I think ours will be too. I just don't know what we would do that would take up an entire 30 mins (let alone an hour like some wedding I've attended). The cuckoo clock is funny....obviously that's a big deal to some people its nice you just went with it. Can't wait to see more. Oh, and those petals do kind look like a heart.

I've looked at all your pix on my phone, but I guess I never commented.... I love them all!! They are all beautiful!!! DPS did do a great job :cutie: Thanks for sharing your amazing day :goodvibes

Just because you should know what my favorites are :)

The B/W one of you looking over the water at Epcot
The B/W one of you and DH walking in CBR while you're talking
The lipgloss shot
...and the petal toss heart :) so pretty!!!

Your photos are amazing!

The cuckoo clock made me smile, love the pic with you looking at it,

Lovely gesture from the Karmel shop - made my mouth water lol xx

Your Epcot ceremony is one of the best I've ever seen! I love that it's in Germany and I love the cuckoo-clock. :goodvibes I even love that the cast members gave you a special treat--that's so cute!

All of your photos are stunning! You are so beautiful and look so happy! :lovestruc I can't wait to read more!!! :yay:

I'm having a brain fart because I'm pretty sure I saw this in an earlier post but who did the photos you're putting up right now? Photographer? Friend? Mickey himself? If it's a friend, do you know what kind of camera they were using, the color is fantastic in the shots and make me want a new camera lol.

Your wedding was GORGEOUS!!!!

I want to ask about your cocktail hour. Since you took most pictures before the ceremony, was it necessary to have a cocktail hour? Or were you able to hang at Epcot and take some more pictures while everyone left. About what time did you arrive at your reception? Also, what did you provide for your cocktail hour food and beverage wise? I'm trying to figure all of this out for getting married in Italy. Thanks!

The short ceremony was perfect for us. I don't know what else Jack would have said if it was any longer :rotfl:

The Karmel shop ladies were so sweet. We actually saw them later in the week and thanked them again. It was the first wedding they saw in Germany!

Your Epcot ceremony is one of the best I've ever seen! I love that it's in Germany and I love the cuckoo-clock. :goodvibes I even love that the cast members gave you a special treat--that's so cute!

Thank you so much, I'm flattered!! :lovestruc We really loved everything about our day and I don't think I could have smiled more.

Amy and Regina from Disney Photopraphy did all of the photos I'm posting now. We loved them!

We were able to hang out for a bit in Epcot after the ceremony. We did all the bridal party portraits early before the ceremony. We actually left CBR at 7:15am to get to Epcot early to take pics. Then after the ceremony we took family pics. We had enough time to walk over to Italy and take a bunch of pics before heading to the reception. We got to the LSS just before 11am. We got to eat some food and have a cocktail before we were announced. We served some of the extra stuff from the buffet during the cocktail hour...like pastries and some kind of special fruit cocktail. We had an open bar through the whole cocktail hour and reception. We served beer, wine, mimosas and bloody marys.

It was an early morning but TOTALLY worth getting to Epcot early for pics. We were able to get soooo many and in 2 different countries. We knew we wanted bridal party pics in Epcot but didn't want it to be too hot. So before the ceremony was the perfect time for us. Since we got those pics out of the way beforehand we had more time for just our portraits while everyone was at cocktail hour.

After the ceremony and staged exit most of our guests hopped on the bus and headed over to the cocktail hour. Our immediate families stayed behind to take some pics in Germany. The sun was starting to come over the buildings so we were trying to hide out in the shade between pics. The boys were drying themselves off with hankies but they survived :rotfl: I really didn't notice how hot it was...I was having too much fun.

Once the family pics they all went over to cocktail to cool off and relax. DH and I hung around Germany a little longer to get some bridal portraits and then walked over to Italy to get a bunch more :goodvibes I'm so happy we had enough time to be able to get some shots in another country. I felt so lucky that we were able to get so many pics in Epcot, but I guess that's a perk of having an Epcot wedding

I loved every minute of the bridal portrait. The World Showcase has a totally different vibe when it's empty. It just made us feel so special. Well DH really wasn't liking the heat....actually he was hating it. I kept reminding him how lucky we were do get the chance to do this. Most brides have to pay extra and get up early on another day.....needed to keep him focused and take it all in:laughing: He came around, but I know he was REALLY hot. He was a really good sport, he said he was just loving how happy I was...awwww:love:

Anyway here's a few of my favs...

There are so many more pics that I love, but I don't want to overwhelm people with them. I feel like I've posted too many already.

Once we were done in Italy we took our charter bus over to the LSS. We were walked around the front of the Living Seas and I felt like a celebrity. We had to stop to take some pics outside the Living Seas bc we LOVE the gulls...mine mine mine. I think they're hysterical. We got a few cool pics and then it was time to party :goodvibes
