Has anyone recently used mercurytravel.net for tickets? I know many DISers have used them in the past, but as they still list 2008 tickets I'm wondering if there are "issues". They have a good price on the 7day premium tix which is all we'll need for our trip in the summer. As the exchange rate is still down south, buying from the US will not save us much, if anything!

TIA

Hi there, I wondered about Mercury too, we used them for a trip back in 2001.

I have tried to call them recently though, but their lines are dead and if you log on to mercurytravel.net the website always says its closed for maintenance now, so it looks like they may have folded.

If anyone knows differently, please let us know. :confused3

Hi there,
We wondered what had happened, but it turns out that they have indeed ceased trading :sad1:
Such a shame - we used them for 3 of our previous Disney trips (when they did holidays) and most of our ticket needs.
I feel sorry for the people that will've been laid off! :sad2:

shame they were the first company we used for our first ever trip to orlando
