Merchandise you wish to see or want back

I miss the good old days when Villains in Vogue actually sold villain merchandise >.< It was the only place I could find decent Frollo and Jafar stuff, and then it deteriorated into Nightmare Before Christmas and Pirates of the Caribbean (both of which I like, but STILL. The two Jacks are NOT villians!), then into DHS merchandise the likes of which you could find anywhere in the park. Apparently there's "no market for villians," but I and most of my friends beg to differ. I never wanted to be a princess when I was little-- I wanted to be an evil queen!

I want them to bring Quality and Variety back! The quality of the product is so low now, and seems to get lower each time we go. We have stopped buying basically anything but Christmas ornaments because it just isn't worth the money for how well it wears or how long it lasts.

I also hate that every store carries the exact same thing now, if it wasn't for the decor you wouldn't even know you had crossed into a new "store" on Main Street. I remember when we looked forward to going into certain stores for what they had that was always unique, and those days are totally behind us. They also don't seem to release new merchandise as frequently, mainly in regards to adult apparel. I have a visor with Mickey's sillouette on it that I got in 2006, and would love to get a new one that is a similar style (not screaming "I went to Disney World"), but they still have that same one...

Agreed.

I want them to bring back this gaudy Epcot center camera strap which had a rainbow stripe across it. It was kind of ugly, but my father loved it, and to me it signified that dad was bringing out the big rig Minolta from back in the day. He still has it but would like a new one since this one is a bit battle worn. I would like to find it again.

You know, that moment when dad let you use the camera for the first time? Cameras and film were expensive, each click cost you quite a bit, and you never knew the shot was worth it until a week or so later. Hmph, digital... I ain't going back.:surfweb:

Oh, and there was this chocolate chip cake at the crystal palace, but I haven't gone back since they changed it.

T shirt qualtiy back up. I want more choices in 3xl. ....

ditto!

while at DL, we saw some great vintage Mickey shirts. i would love to see more vintage Mickey everything. Our DS9 spotted a 'Just Plane Crazy' Mickey Tee and it is awesome.

ITA!!!!! I can't stand the homigenization of the merchadise and PLEASE bring back the quality clothing. I have absolutely beautiful sweatshirts from Disney. Well made, nice embroidery, great quality and I LOVE them. They weren't cheap, but they were SO worth it. Same for t-shirts. The thin low quality ones they mostly sell now are awful. Does every t-shirt have to just be screenprinted? I don't even look at those, I want nice quality embroidered shirts and sweatshirts.

RESORT merchandise!!!!!!!!!! Bring it back!!!!!!!!!! And ditch ALL the Disney World/Disneyland stuff. If I'm at WDW I don't want my souvenir to say Disneyland and visa versa.

Villains Merch!

Please! Please! Please!

A store called 'Villains in Vogue' should not have more stuff from Nightmare Before Christmas then actual Villains stuff. :confused3

villians merch please and thank you and don't make me turn you into a coat. really disappointed with the general uniformity of stuff for sale.

and enough already with the nightmare before christmas.

I interpret that as a regular adult shirt that fits someone who grew up in the 80's or early 90's that doesn't show every chub roll or cling so tight that you leave nothing to the imagination. I never buy WDW T shirts because of the style and tight look. I am 5'4" amd 220#, a 2X....they never have a 2x that fits me, ever. My DH is a 2X and his brother a 3X we can never find those either.

My request would be more 14kt gold charms and the porceline princess figurines that are about 6 inches tall. Know the figurines are all banks or trinket boxes.

I grew up in the 80s/90s, and I personally love the newer more form-fitting shirts. I have two retro EPCOT shirts from the last couple years that are phenomenal. They fit much better with a normal, non-baggy pair of jeans. I hope that if they bring back the...larger? shirts, it's not at the expense of the skinny ones.

Also, more resort merch, more land/ride specific merch, and MORE not less nightmare before xmas.

Actually I think on the less standardized merch front, they've actually made some progress lately. When we were in WDW last summer, i saw hats and shirts for maelstrom of all things, plus shirts for BLT, kidani village, adventure land, and some others that escape me now. They're back on the right track, I think.

I miss the re-usable plastic cups that drinks came in at the Parks.
I still have a couple from pre-2001 (I think), but not sure when they stopped?:confused3

The big Pluto autograph dog on a red leash. I have one that I got years ago. I admired it for so long, and finally got one, and it is autographed beautifully. Now I have toddler and preschool grandkids and they always go for my Pluto. They all want one. I think that the attraction is that he is large size and you can pretend you are walking him. They had those for years and years at WDW and then poof...gone.

Villains merchandise, it has increased slightly over the years as far as I can tell, but its all the same stuff, oh and most of it is Jack Skellington stuff like in the villains store in DHS, half the store is Nightmare Before X-mas stuff. I would be thrilled if they made merchandise with Chernabog that wasnt the same pose that they have used on EVERY piece of merchandise they use him for. Disney has a great variety of villains and they dont utilize them to potential with marketing.

Oh, and also the talking monorail magnet! I still have 2 on my refrigerator but I'm always dreading the day that they die.

I have been searching for the talking monorail magnet for years now, no one will sell theirs of course :) I've always kept a close watch on ebay for them but nothing!!!

I wish they'd sell them again!

Resort exclusive, Park exclusive and Resort exclusive mugs. Need more variety than they have now. However, it does cut down on the shopping time because you see one store, you've seen it all.

The Mickey Mouse kitchen sponge
The monorail magnet - Everyone keeps trying to "steal it" off the fridge
The blue oven mitt with chef mickey on it
Exclusive glasses that they used to sell at restaraunts - I have a glass from Sci Fi and a beer mug from Chef Mickey and a glass stern from (at that time) King Stephan's Banquet Hall

License plate frames and the sun shade

I would love to see more women's shirts that aren't the junior cut. Not everyone's built to wear one of those! :headache:
I also think that there should be a wider variety of characters avaliablke on things like shirts and bags.
